About Accreditation
In the United States, accreditation is used to ensure the quality of educational institutions and programs. It should be noted that accreditation is a voluntary, non-governmental process of evaluation. The accreditation process requires an education program to meet certain defined standards of criteria from the accrediting body. These standards vary from state to state and from region to region. These standards change with each individual institution because of the freedom of choice which means that there are no two universities that have the exact same structure, philosophies, teaching modalities or evaluations. Further, we being non-traditional in nature, our programs are not designed to meet any particular requirements established by any private association or traditional licensing or accrediting organization. We have our accreditation through AAATI (American Accreditation Association Theological Institute).
Will my degree be accepted by employers and educational institutions?
Although our graduates do quite well in the job market, we at LCBC make no promises or guarantees of employment or acceptability of transfer credits to any public or private education institution. If you are seeking a degree at LCBC for special licensing, employment or additional educational purposes, we advise you to check with the association, governmental agency, employer, or specific educational institution to determine the acceptability. No school has to accept credit from any other school.
How do I obtain a transcript?
At the completion of a semester or at the completion of your program, you can request a transcript for a fee of $5.
