Bachelor of Arts in Ministry
Purpose: The purpose of this degree is to broaden the student’s perspectives and understanding of Christian ministry.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it or sent via USPS to the student’s advisor.Purpose: To enable the doctoral candidate to concentrate his/her studies in an area of ministry and do an overall study of research and practice in Christian ministry. The doctoral candidate will write a dissertation regarding the results of his/her research, as well as write a reflection on what was learned during their candidacy program.
Ministry Project Guidelines: The candidate’s Ministry Project idea should be submitted in writing at the outset of the research. The ministry project should include and introduction of the theme, then an in-depth study of the hands on ministry project. The project is designed to give the candidate hands–on experience, which will enable him/her to defend the results of their research through their dissertation. The overall experience will give the candidate a deeper understanding in that particular area of ministry. There are three core courses of study related to the doctoral field. These courses are required readings in preparation for the ministry project.Purpose: To enable the doctoral candidate to grow in the systematic understanding of theological perspectives.

The doctor of Theology degree program requires 25 hours of coursework that must be completed at LCBC before the degree is granted. The Th.D. dissertation is the bulk of the doctoral program. A theme should be submitted in writing before acceptance into the program. The candidate will defend his or her Theological defense before the Doctrinal Review Committee by conference call after the dissertation is finalized and sent to the school.
